天气逐渐变冷了，

见面先来谈论一下天气情况！
“what's the weather like today?”
“It's sunny/cloudy/windy/foggy/stormy/raining/hailing/snowing……”
除了直接说今天是什么天气之外，
还可以更详细地描述一下“风、雨、雷、电”：
there's a strong wind
the wind's dropped
it's pouring with rain
it's raining cats and dogs
that sounds like thunder
that's lightning
想要表达天气是好还是坏可以说：
what a nice/beautiful/terrible day!
it's clearing up
it's baking hot
it's freezing cold
接下来进入正题，来学习一下下面的英语表达吧！天气还能表示情绪的！
under the weather
生病了，不舒服，相当于ill/sick
如果你想说“人家今天不舒服啦”就可以用“under the weather”来表达~~
eg;I feel sort of under the weather today.我今天感觉有点儿不舒服。
Whatever I ate for lunch is making me feel a bit under the weather.中午吃的东西让我感觉很不舒服。
关于storm的表达
storm out
大家都知道storm是风暴的意思，风暴很容易让我们联想到可能有不好的事情会发生，好怕怕啊……storm out我们可以理解为“leave sb angry”，某人很生气地离开（storm out of some place）
eg:Carol stormed out of the office in a rage.卡罗尔一怒之下冲出了办公室。
She got mad and stormed out.她生气地离开了。
关于wind的表达
Get wind of sth/catch wind of sth.意思是“you find out information/secret”发现了什么信息或者秘密~
eg:John caught wind of the gossip being spread about him.约翰抓到了散播他谣言的人。
关于rain的表达
rain on my parade
Parade的意思是游行，试想一下，在你开心地加入游行队伍时突然下起了雨，什么都还没有玩儿就被雨淋得浑身湿透了是不是很不开心？
“rain on my parade”就是泼冷水的意思~~本来很开心，但是有人说的话或者做的事情破坏了你的好情绪，就可以用“rain on my parade”来表达~
eg:Hey,don’t rain on my parade before I even start.嘿，不要在我还没开始就给我泼冷水。
关于cloud的表达
on cloud nine
表示非常非常高兴~
eg:When I got my promotion,I was on cloud nine.
我被提拔这件事儿让我非常开心。
关于thunder的表达
steal his/her thunder
to do something that takes attention away from what someone else has done.
thunder指雷声，后来表达雷声贯耳的含义，然后就引申为名气。steal one’s thunder直译是说偷走了某人的雷声，其实是引申为抢走了别人的名气、风头。
17世纪的时候，作家John Dennis制造了一个机器发出的声音像雷声一样，在他的戏剧中使用，之后他的这个创意被其他人抄袭啦~~
eg:Remember you are the leading role;don't let others steal your thunder!记着你才是主角，别让他人抢了你的风头!
Despite fine acting by several wellknown stars it was a young newcomer who stole their thunder.尽管几位名角演出都很出色,却未曾想竟让一名新秀抢尽风头.
